Rev Up for the New Hope Auto Show
Every August, car enthusiasts and collectors from all over the country flock to New Hope to showcase some of the finest antique and classic automobiles you'll see anywhere for the New Hope Auto Show. What began as a small gathering of vintage car aficionados in 1957 has grown into a grand event attracting thousands of visitors each year. Mark your calendar for the 2023 New Hope Auto Show, set for Aug. 12-13. Come for the cars and stay for everything else our scenic riverside town has to offer. Our beautiful Inn at Bowman's Hill is located just 4 miles from the event grounds at New Hope-Solebury High School, making our luxury bed-and-breakfast the perfect place to stay when you're in town for the automobile show.
Whether you have a soft spot for classic muscle cars, admire the craftsmanship of vintage European automobiles or appreciate the cutting-edge technology of vehicles fresh off the assembly line, the New Hope Auto Show offers something to captivate every automotive enthusiast. Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the show as you explore row after row of meticulously maintained vehicles. Engage in conversations with passionate car owners and collectors, who are always eager to share stories and insights about their prized possessions. Admire the pristine finishes, graceful curves and powerful engines that have earned these automobiles their esteemed places in automotive history.
One of the standout features of the New Hope Auto Show is the incredible variety of cars on display. From the Ford Model T to brand-new Corvettes and Porsche Boxters, the auto show offers an unforgettable experience that bridges the gap between automotive heritage and modern innovation. In fact, it's really two shows in one, as each day of the two-day event offers something different. Saturday is domestic car day, and Sunday is foreign car day. To keep up with the ever-evolving auto enthusiasts' ages and tastes, the show has added popular collector classes in recent years, including replicars and rods (hot, rat, street, restomod, classic) to the Saturday domestic lineup. And Sunday's foreign car showcase will see an Asian division of eight classes, including Japanese tuners.
Best of all, the money raised by the New Hope Auto Show through vehicle registration entries, visitor admissions tickets and nominal parking fees goes to a good cause. All proceeds benefit New Hope Helping, an organization that supports educational scholarships, local causes and cultural events. The charitable group has donated more than $1.6 million to the community, with a large part of that coming from the annual auto show.
In its 66 years, the New Hope Auto Show has become a beloved summer tradition along the Delaware River. It's a testament to the enduring allure of automobiles — from elegant vintage models to sleek and powerful sports cars — and is truly a celebration of craftsmanship and innovation that transcends time. We look forward to having you stay with us at the Inn at Bowman's Hill when you're visiting Bucks County for the New Hope Car Show. We know you'll love New Hope as much as you love the automotive marvels.
